Contemporary Diplomacy Simulation

Owing to my role as Salim Ahmed Salim, one of the cheif negotiators, I was a little too busy throughout the night to actually take any pictures. Click on the photos for enlarged versions.
We arrived nice and early to begin setting up. The sun was just setting and the view of the City was magnificent.
The room for Tripoli (this one) was considerably bigger than the one for New York. We're just getting ourselves organised and ready to begin.
The microphone was slightly annoying - everytime I tapped the desk, everybody heard it. So I had to sit still when it was quiet, which isn't something that I am especially good at.
Three hours later, Professor John Hirsch debriefs us and says a few thankyous. This was a very fun exercise, and I am absolutely unconcerned with my grade. I learned a lot and that is what ultimately matters... although I would still be hesitant if someone were to offer me a real position of responsibility as a negotiator.
