Solid Waste Management
Solid waste, rubbish, trash, garbage, refuse, or junk are different terms to designate unwanted or undesired materials that have to be avoided or removed – in other words: managed – to maintain the School and its surroundings clean and reduce risks to human health and the environment.
From an environmental point of view, solid wastes are resources out of place and efforts should be made to recover them by re‐using, recycling or processing them in some intelligent way.
Rather than just being concerned with how to "remove" the solid waste in your School, solid waste should be properly managed.
