7. Preparing an action plan
Prepare for the upcoming weeks' nursery activities: who is doing what and when. The calender of the nursery‘s activities (seedlings growth cycle) should fit in with the school term. If needed, voluntary helpers should be mobilized- all the tools and materials should be at hand;
- prepare some integrated lessons using the tree nursery as an outdoor laboratory
- Apart from the practical tree growing activities such as seedbed and pot preparation, sowing and planting seedlings, watering and transplanting, you should also think about monitoring and record keeping.
